The City of Calgary Roads Department participated in a complete Kronos® Value Assessment of their systems & processes to find key areas of savings.
In Calgary, city departments are tasked with improving processes that will allow the city to serve their taxpayers efficiently and effectively. Leading this charge is Roads, a business unit of the Transportation Department.
The Kronos Value Assessment process helped them:
"With a manual, paper-based scheduling process, it would take about six weeks each time to create the schedule, do the shift bidding process, then distribute the finished schedules out to our nine districts. We wanted a solution that would help us automate these processes to make us more efficient about how we schedule our workers, how we track their time, and how we track other aspects such as overtime and vacation."
